Coach Walker’s Fitness Camp has given my workout regimine a much needed shake-up. In 6 short weeks, my endurance has increased, I'm leaner, stronger, and the shape of my body has visibly changed. I'm currently on my way to becoming a personal trainer myself. I absolutely love it. I am also a firefighter. I spent years trying to workout inside of gyms around the Milwaukee area. Now I can't imagine not being active. I've kick started my day with an incredible workout’s with Coach Walker.

At Xmas 2007 I was getting increasingly worried about my weight. As someone who had always been very slim, I was over 22 lbs with a medium build (5ft 6) and situation was making me feel slightly nauseous, especially with the onset of my wedding in eight months. As a desperate yo yo dieter and someone that reluctantly flirts with exercise very sporadically, I decided to finally do some thing about it!! So I searched the internet after reading an article in a magazine about the use of kettle bells in sports training, which I thought could be something that might possibly help me. I chanced upon Coach Walker as he is in West Allis which is local to me, and promptly booked some personal training sessions as he had a great attitude and was so professional.
I really enjoyed the kettlebell sessions with Coach Walker, I was particularly impressed with his level of care and attention to his clients. He is dedicated to safety and beyond careful when it comes to form when training which is extremely reassuring. After having a conversation with Coach Walker, as to what my goals were very early on in our kettlebell sessions, he was incredibly encouraging. He said that it wouldn’t be a problem to shift any extra weight I had at that point and could help me feel better about myself by exercising to be healthy and happy. Coach Walker gave me a fantastic detox diet which I followed religiously. Please note, it wasn’t hard to follow as Coach Walker gave some great recipe advice along with a push in the right direction when it came to lifestyle choice. I the n teamed the diet with his training sessions and extra spin sessions at my gym, and was astounded to see the results I had been hoping for. I am going to be straight with you, I followed the diet to get the initial weight off, the n I slacked a few times on the diet whilst on holiday etc but always kept up the exercise by doing group sessions with Coach Walker and a bunch of lovely like minded girls once a week. Then a month before the wedding, I went straight back on the diet again. I have now gone from what is realistically 12 lbs (I had been lying to myself for a while). That is a total loss of 28 pounds!! I am 30 pounds from my target weight . . . and with 2 weeks until the wedding so I am right on schedule!!!

Working with Coach Walker for the past 6 weeks has been a life changing experience.
Before I started with Coach Walker I was frustrated, unmotivated, negative and a regular gym-dropout. Within a couple of weeks I was looking forward to exercising each day and really enjoying the clean and healthy detox diet. Now, at the end of my 6 weeks, I nearly bounce out bed to get to work, my work colleagues comment on how sparkly and healthy I look and best of all………I have lost 24 lbs !!! My entire body shape is changing and I need to shop for some smaller clothes. I never thought that could happen in 6 weeks.
Coach Walker has a friendly and supportive manner when working with us. His attitude keeps every session light and fun while at the same time encouraging us to challenge ourselves and work off those calories. The Bootcamp style of training has been brilliant – working with other girls with similar goals makes me feel less alone in my quest to burn fat. Means lots of laughs and giggles too with the odd grunt of determination thrown in.
Coach Walker’s workout program is simple and easy to manage, based on using my own bodyweight for resistance. This has made a huge difference for me as I am able to do it all in my backyard (so no-one can watch!) with no equipment at all. Kettlebells and CrossFit Method’s added another dimension to our sessions with Coach Walker – doing what appear to be simple exercises become fatburning wonders. Who would have thought swinging a weight around our body or through your legs could do so much!
I have done diets and workout programs many times but Coach Walker is what has made the difference this time. Right from his initial emails, he helped me to believe in myself and the potential I had for burning off that fat.
Leading up to the last couple of sessions with Coach Walker I realized how much I will miss working with him and the other girls. I have never felt so determined to burn fat so we have arranged to continue on our sessions for another few weeks. I am going to purchase my own kettlebell to enhance my home workouts too.
For anyone that feels that they are beyond repair, beyond the point of return I am proof that this is not true. I am still shocked at how far I have come and cannot thank Coach Walker enough for his encouragement and motivation over the past 6 weeks.

The dynamic movements and the variety of exercises make the routines really interesting, and they can be combined into small circuits to exercise different muscles. "I started training with Coach Walker in May 2005 with the aim of being fit enough for a week's walking and climbing in the Rocky Mts. in August. I was not unfit but needed some motivation to keep up the exercise, especially in the evenings after work. I thought we would just be running, but Coach Walker listened to my goals, and showed me a number of exercises to build up the strength in my legs and arms to help with the steep climbs. In previous years I have really suffered with the altitude and sore limbs, but after a number of sessions with Coach Walker, I was able to climb several peaks over 3,700m with ease. I can't believe I experienced no aches or pains at all, apart from the odd blister!
In the 10 weeks training, I can honestly say that no one session was the same, and all of them have been fun. I'll certainly keep it up."
